Chemin de fer is very similar to baccarat as it's played in American casinos today. The title of banker rotates around the table in a manner similar to the dice at a craps table. There exists quite a diversity today, especially so since it has made its way onto the world wide web. Baccarat has a history overseas too, which is evidenced by its popularity among the Asian population who visit Las Vegas each year. It is
often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Baccarat
is a card game played with a single deck of cards. Simply place a bet on which of the
two hands, Player or Banker, you think will come closer to a total of nine. Winning bets placed on the “Player” pay 1:1. Once the bet
is placed, the "Player" and "Banker" are each dealt 2 cards.
Tens and face cards have a value of 0 (zero), and all other cards are counted as
their face value, Aces having a value of 1. In the
event of a "Tie", the bet is a push and the "Tie" bet is
paid. A 9 is an automatic win unless the other side has 9, which is a tie. Baccarat is so appealing - it's an easy game to play because there's no strategy to learn. Most games with a low edge require you to learn some strategy; in Baccarat, you get the some low edge no matter what, because the only decisions you make are how much to bet and which of the two low-edge hands you want to bet on, Player or Banker.
The casino takes a 5% commission on winning hands when you bet on Banker. If the
PLAYER STANDS, the DEALER must: draw if Dealers total is 0 to 5; stand if
Dealers total is 6 or 7. At the start of the game, the Player and Banker hands are each dealt two
cards.Baccarat in UK (United Kingdom) offers game reviews, UK baccarat casinos and other gambling information. Just visit Baccarat 9 UK to read more about baccarat.
