Chemin de fer is very similar to baccarat as it's played in American casinos today. The interesting bit to observe of course is that the casino is taking no risk here; they simply charge a fee from each
banker. If an eight or a nine was thrown, she would become the priestess; if she threw a six or seven, she would be banned from any further religious activities; if she threw any number less than six, she would walk into the sea. The table is staffed by only one dealer who is responsible for handling the cards. Baccarat is a high-class card game with high minimum bets. It is
often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Baccarat
is a card game played with a single deck of cards. The two cards might as be called Hand 1 and Hand 2. Once the bet
is placed, the "Player" and "Banker" are each dealt 2 cards.
Tens and face cards have a value of 0 (zero), and all other cards are counted as
their face value, Aces having a value of 1. The probability of a "Tie"
win is 9.5%Winning bets placed on the “Banker” pay 1:1, however there is a
5% commission that the casino takes out. Only the last digit of the two-card total is counted. Aces count as 1, and face cards have no value. For Player hands, the player hits on 0-5, and stands on 6-9.
Remember that 8 & 9 are usually automatic wins. Remember the slower you play, the longer your money will last. At the start of the game, the Player and Banker hands are each dealt two
cards.Baccarat in UK (United Kingdom) offers game reviews, UK baccarat casinos and other gambling information. Just visit Baccarat 9 UK to read more about baccarat.
